joni tampons are applicator free in order to reduce waste. The tampon of choice in Europe, they are commonly known as âdigitalâ tampons because you use your fingers to insert. joni tampons feature a curved tip for easy insertion and a knotted string for easy removal.
What absorbency of tampon should I use?
joni tampons come in three absorbencies: regular and super. Always choose the lowest absorbency for your flow. If youâre new to tampons, begin with joni regular tampons and level up to super if necessary. Tampons should be changed every four hours and never longer than eight hours.

joni tampons and their wrapper are compostable! However, some municipal compost programs accept soiled tampons and others do not â so check with your local program. joni tampons may be placed in some home composters or your own outdoor compost â cutting them beforehand will speed up the process. Otherwise, joni tampons can be thrown into your regular garbage where they will be taken to the landfill to decompose. Please note: tampons should never be flushed down the toilet.
