$4000 Microgrants Given
#StartUpLife is not for the faint of heart, friends! Many never make it to three years, and for female-led companies, the struggle is even harder. So when we hit four, we celebrated by giving a hand up to four inspiring women-led brands through $4,000 worth of mini-grants: SLIPP Health, Brood, The Villaj, and Endo Events. Together, we’re supporting and lifting each other up as we pave the way for success in a challenging landscape.
747,162 Pads and Tampons Donated
Every purchase you make helps us support period equity initiatives in communities nationwide. Thanks to your incredible support, we’ve donated 747,162 pads and tampons—over $230,000 in value—to those who need them most. This is made possible with our amazing non-profit partners. From grassroots organizations to national charities like Food Banks Canada, The Period Purse, Moontime Connections, and Let it Flow, their dedication makes it all happen. Together, we’re breaking barriers and ensuring everyone has access to period care.
Innovation | New Products
Incontinence Pad Launched
From the beginning, we’ve heard from customers who used our pads and liners to manage urinary incontinence because conventional plastic-based options left them irritated. So we took what you love most—organic, soft, plant-based materials—and created a natural incontinence pad that’s ultra-thin, highly absorbent, and features a charcoal strip to naturally eliminate odors. Whether it’s due to pregnancy, postpartum, peri- or post-menopause, or another reason someone is experiencing urinary incontinence, we’re here to support them.
Model V Free-vend Dispenser Introduced
We unveiled our brand-new digitized Model V dispenser, to help high-traffic workplaces and large organizations provide free period care in their washrooms. Say goodbye to clunky, broken-down machines that only take spare change. The sleek Model V dispenses products for free and sends alerts to maintenance staff when it’s time to restock. It’s a game-changer for making period care accessible and hassle-free. Keep an eye out—this beauty will be available in spring 2025!
Conservation | Sustainability Initiatives
Waste Diverted
We diverted 219,226 kg (482,298 lbs) of plastic waste from landfills—equivalent to 965 grizzly bears, grand pianos, or small motorcycles! That’s no small feat, especially when you consider that this amount represents petroleum-based plastic that we’ve replaced with plant-based materials in our period pads. By choosing plant-based materials, we’re reducing our reliance on fossil fuels and paving the way for a greener future—one period pad at a time.
B Corp Certification
Becoming B-Corp certified in September solidified our dedication to sustainability and social responsibility. This certification acknowledges our commitment to producing high-quality period care while ensuring our business practices make a positive impact. By donating 5% of our revenue to period equity initiatives, we’re actively working to reduce period poverty and increase access to essential products for those who need them most. It’s our way of reinforcing our mission—using our business as a force for good, every day.

Big love for big box! Getting joni on Costco shelves is a dream come true for us at joni! You can now find our sustainable period care products at the Victoria, BC, and Vaughan, ON locations, as well as online. Every purchase helps us show the demand for accessible, plant-based period care, bringing us closer to our mission of creating a more sustainable and equitable future.
Model A Dispensers
This year, we rolled out over 1,300 Model A dispensers, bringing sustainable period care to more workplaces, schools, and public spaces than ever before. Find our dispensers in places like Deloitte, Schneider Electric, McGill, and CIBC. Each dispenser represents a step forward in making period care accessible, convenient, and stigma-free for everyone. We’re proud to see these sleek, innovative machines making period care more accessible!
Products Sold
This year, we sold an incredible 2,351,274 products! From workplace washrooms to over 600 retail shelves—including Whole Foods and London Drugs—to stocking special event washrooms, joni is showing up where it’s needed most.
