From Coast to Coast: Our Favourite Canadian Wellness Brands

Publié par Team joni le

When we first launched joni in 2020, we realized there were almost no Canadian-made sustainable disposable period care brands—let alone local ones. That’s exactly why we built joni: to create access to period care for all Canadians, no matter where they live. Today, the majority of our business remains right here in Canada, and we’re proud to be part of a growing movement of homegrown brands.

Lately, we’ve been seeing people ask online: What is Canadian? Shoppers are checking labels, wondering what to look for, and worrying about whether their favourites will still be available. The good news is that there are so many amazing Canadian brands to discover!

Whether you’re looking for health and wellness essentials or delicious snacks, here are some of our favourites:

Health & Wellness:
Glow Jar – Simple, effective skincare that prioritizes natural ingredients.
Nala – High-performing, free-from deodorants made with your health in mind.
Elate Cosmetics – Sustainable beauty that helps you feel good inside and out.
Aeryon Wellness – Science-backed supplements designed for women’s health.
Maple Organics – Canada’s first organic pharmaceutical company, offering plant-based remedies.
Picot Collective – Thoughtfully crafted fragrances and self-care essentials.

Healthy Snacks:
🥝 Chiwis – Crunchy, delicious fruit chips made from upcycled produce.
🍲 Beek’s Broth – Nutrient-rich bone broth supporting gut and immune health.
🥗 Spread 'Em Kitchen – Plant-based, dairy-free spreads and cheeses made with real ingredients.

To our Canadian customers: Thank you for continuing to support Canadian brands like ours. Your choices help independent businesses thrive, create jobs, and keep innovative products accessible across our vast country.

To our U.S. customers: We appreciate you now more than ever! For now, there are no changes, and we remain committed to making our products as accessible as possible.

Let’s keep supporting our communities, our businesses, and each other. 💙🍁
